When they walk us out, maybe we'll get a popsicle and something to color. If you were an "Ace of the Base", a cheap tee shirt with a MB and DZ iron on will be yours.

The miscalculation is by those who didn’t realize the world changed right under their nose. Everyday more and more are awakening to the reality that greed has gone too far. We are going to take our livelihood back in due time.
Amy Ariano tells Mark how how to jump and he’s does. C-appy VP and Super C-appy President. When is the last time he fell off his throne to come visit your department and say “Thanks.” Nah- he sits in his Ivory Tower and counts his money.
When it's you against the world, bet on the world.
Not even close to being true. The scenery may change but the system is the same everywhere. It merely disguises itself for awhile if you are lucky. Corporate America and their government cronies sold us out decades ago.
There are lots of flights departing for greener pastures every day.
Wake up people, GAC leadership has us by the b@lls and will do anything to screw us over for their personal benefit. If we don’t grow a back bone soon, the only thing we will look back on is the fact that so many of us took the abuse and did nothing. The writing has been on the wall for a decade and they are completing the Gulfstream Final Solution plan. They will not be happy until they have us beaten down and begging for the honor to make them huge salaries and bonuses. Put aside decades of anti-union brainwashing propaganda and come to terms with the fact that unions came to power for exactly these type of situations. Greedy and incompetent management who bite the hand that feeds them until we finally realize we had the power all along if we unite as one.
Taking parental situation into account when doing a lay-off would be as big of a labor violation as taking age into consideration. What does it say about the boomers who were let go in favor of millwith kids? Theyre playing the long game and you’re kidding yourself if you think they didn’t take school closures into account in the short term.
They hit the over 50 bunch hard. My lawyer said age discrimination was too hard to prove, but it was clear you were 300% more likely to be let go if you were a more experienced engineer. Now they have all the thirty somethings boo hooing about needing to work from home to homeschool and provide daycare. GAC made its bed. Now it needs to lie in it. I lived and breathed GAC for more than a decade. I was the first in every morning and the last to leave. I worked on weekends and vacation. WTF are they thinking letting people like me go and letting these teenaged G500/600 lightweights stay?
I, as a veteran employee, doubt that there will be layoffs until Oct-Nov. If you are over 50, plan accordingly. The one in May raised the bar of inconsideration. Calling people at home or locking them out is such an insult. Abandon any ideas of company "loyalty" and rake in all the chips you can. Become a mercenary of self-interest.
Brunswick furloughs start Aug.10, Two weeks at a time, 3-4 groups.
Dallas, furloughs starting Aug 10 with layoffs in September.
Only cowards and scumb@gs will work you all week and call you on Friday morning to lay you off. Only leadership t–d$ would milk you for all you got and then let su€er naive junior management pe@ons do their dirty work. They aren’t fooling anyone with a brain. We know who is responsible for this unnecessary carnage.
SOP seems to keep you in the dark, get that last day of work out of you, then once you're safely off property, can you on your day off.
They might even call to tell you about it, or just let you find out Monday morning when your badge doesn't work.
Six of one, half dozen of the other - problem's solved on their end.
Nope
Wish they would hurry up, ready to go to the house!
Nothing yet
Brunswick furloughed?
Really? Haven’t heard anything
