Apparently we're going to need to create an IT Union if DXC flat out refuses to give it's employees a pay increase after 4 or 5 years of service. This is well overdue

So did the union in Belgium win it's fight with dxc? Anyone know?
You don’t need a union, you need to grow a spine. If you do not have the skill set or the esteem to receive what you think you are worth, then you I get what you deserve. Don’t go crying to someone else to stand up for you.
Ahh yes I remember that in Belgium. Never saw how it turned out... Victory for the union I assume.
I remember when CSC Denmark (with a strong union membership) tried to stand up to CSC...
That didn't go well and that episode has been printed out and framed on the boardroom wall.
I'd suggest another attempt would end the same way.
American company. They have already stuck two fingers up at the workers councils in North & Central Europe. UK&I the unions couldnt do squat. The new merged region will not give a dam. Regional mergers have been done to mask the figures of clients leaving. Huge blackhole in finances.

For me it looks like less as an issue of missing bonuses or payrises.
10% less revenue per year means 10% work force reduction.
+ another 5-10% reduction because of automation and clowd.
The issue is, that your job is at risk.
Quit and get your raise
Unless you are not qualified
Good luck with this union c-ap.
