I've been out since April. I have had many interviews, but no offers yet. There are too many people applying for the same positions right now. Employers can get the absolute cream of the crop. The pool is huge!

Was laid off in Aug round of WFRs. I haven't been looking too hard or applying at many places because the good positions are extremely limited, and they few that look good are already filled by the time you see the posting. So I'm biding my time until after the elections and the markets improve after the COVID impact dies down some more.

And it is even that much harder if you are 60 like me.

I just started looking and recruiters are telling me that things are picking up pace. We are still not where we need to be but it's better than Q2

Depends.
You are experienced, can cram new tech, and know how to interview? Not too long: 2-3 months

Been camping out at dell for xx years? Then the multiplier is generally 1 month for every year inactive to find new gig.
