Stock price is reflecting the investment portfolio (slide 13):

  1. Only $0.7B in Equities - that's 0.2% of total portfolio - so they missed the upside. When compared to Berkshire -that's a big miss!
  2. 10% of portfolio ($35B) is in below inv grade or 'junk' bonds.
  3. Mortgage backed is a huge portion of portfolio.
