I thought layoffs were supposed to start on Thursday? Yet I see some people in the comments saying some have already been laid off today? Is this true? Can we get any more info on it if it is?

Several seasoned IT individual contributors today got whacked. All US based “higher cost“ vs cheap offshore resources.
Coworker was let go in SRO - cyber security- department today. Just that one is all that i know of for now.

Cuts have started. I was based out of Hopkinton. Marketing. Doesn’t feel like a “small percentage” and the cuts are not focused on any particular group or location. It will be interesting to see how many were cut for the entire year. Pretty high number.

It is very scary! we do not even know if by the end of today/week we still have a job.
Usually WFR occurs on a Wednesday, which is what happened last month during the account realignments. I am hearing the same this time around as well

I remember I got WFR notice a month ago and was given two weeks notice. I don't know how it is right now.
Since the company is certainly not keeping us in the loop...
