The minutia of the severance calculations vary from site to site, even within the same country in my experience. It makes it tricky to comment without knowing the full calculations.
However if I'm reading it right, any of those weeks-per-year severance figures are higher than I've had (limited) knowledge of.
That's not to comment on what the impacted employees are entitled to or not.
