The Super Kmart in Tinley Park, IL actually carried live Christmas trees in their last few years open. Not that it really mattered since it didn't appear that they sold very many.
Seriously I worked there from 99-03. We NEVER sold real Christmas trees.
Ever ever seen it. Not even in the lots except way back perhaps orders of fake trees to close out..good margins.
I saw a number of Kmarts selling Christmas trees last year. There weren't very many, but they were out front, by the entrance.

I wonder where they got that picture of laundry detergent from.
I was there three weeks ago and things looked somewhat different to say the least.
I find it hard to believe they are actually receiving inventory.
Although those stained ceiling panels do look familiar.

OP here. The emailed list was the 25 mainland stores and the Guam store. All stores were listed to get Xmas trees except the long beach and Costa Mesa stores.
This is far too vague. 24 Kmart stores in the proper US? There are only 25 US-based Kmarts anyway, so then only 1 is missing.
Or 24 Kmart stores left overall Worldwide? Then we are missing 10, because the total is 34.
Also someone mentioned WESTWOOD & AVENEL NJ Kmarts were closing? Although I have seen zero evidence of that so I'm not sure if that's accurate at all.
