Left ten weeks ago but it feels like I've been gone for at least ten months instead! Best decisions I ever made. Life is so much better outside of Honeyhell.

Automotive is about to be the hot sector. Electrification disruption.
So what was the gamble?
Anything oil and gas and refining is at an all time low. There is some activity in petrochemicals but there's 2-300 people for every job posted. It's tough coming from UOP as we've been know for extra extra high quality which in return translates to 'does not know how to get projects done on budget'. This really took off when Honeywell took over UOP and started placing 'leadership' from other parts of Honeywell. Then we started to turn the screws on the market.
What industry did you take a new job in?
Did you jump to another aerospace company or a diferent industry? With the aviation business being at a all time low with only a glimpse of normalcy after 5 years any company related to aviation is toxic. Further compounded with American capitalism to make short term revenues based on short term decisions, it is inevitable that cutting jobs will be continous affair. It ain't like our European brethens that professes revenue but at the same time advocates long term visions.
I'm not advocating anybody quit their job right now, I just wanted to let everybody know there are options available out there.
