No WFR news for several weeks. Nothing from the whingers in the US, nothing from the UK Chorley Shy Teds, Very strange.

@4nfp+16PVUgYO" The new crew shining Mike's shoes or making his cup of tea...". Getting rid of experienced staff for newbies without experience is a receipe for disaster
sure, a new crew without any experience will move this company forward :-D customers will be so happy that they will buy more and more DXC services and products :-D are you blowing some goods? who is your supplier? I want the same too...
sure, sure ...
the new crew is cleaning up.
They are not just collecting bonuses.
Part of the problem here is too many corpse strewn here in all geographies (particularly ams and emea) .... and those corpse's are collecting money monthly ! Hope the new crew can clean it up and bring in new talent and get this company going. (which is work in progress).
Strange - Last year's bone cutting has affected this year's results.
Who would have thunk it?
"VOOM"?!? Mate, this company wouldn't "voom" if you put four million volts through it! 'E's bleedin' demised!
DXC is merely an exercise in financial engineering. The goal is to extract as much $$ as possible for those at the top before there is nothing left. This strategy did not start with DXC. DXC was another step on the path to extract value. A brand new shiny vehicle with a temporary propped up value.
"Is DXC now just a corpse?" ... It always was - just a Frankenstein collection of spare parts, some viable, some even profitable, very few growing though, to be "optimised" and sold as appropriate
The 1% raise is keeping the grunts content for now
Chances there are whistles blown and charges filed?
DXC is a rotting carcass. The only activity is worthless maggots feasting on the decaying flesh. 100% parasites.
No problem, "Winter is coming!" Stay tuned, LOL
Yes it's only a matter of time before the best bits are sold off and remaining bits are die dodo...
Whinger?. That like a right-whinger?
Don't worry more WFR will come - it's so common in DXC and previously CSC that you can guarantee at least every 6 months there is another round of WFR - especially in US, UK and Europe but oddly couple of months later there is a recruitment campaign in lower cost centres of India hiring new blood to do the previous work that were done by WFR colleagues in the west.
Customers in Europe will go away from DXC in high numbers, as the contractual agreed service will not be delivered starting with October. In some countries 30% layoff + contractors released, so a good portion of current customer facing roles will be replaced, or in most cases left open.
The open question is:
Is this strategy to implement those massive cost savings and customer dissatisfaction while the corona crisis? And hope that customers will not change or go into RFP, vendor selection, tender, ... while homeoffice and crisis?
Or is Mike driven by financial numbers and forced to execute this way to avoid chapter11?
No one left to moan.
It's not dead it's just resting....
Always was a corpse, like its former Co. name CSC!
yes waiting for the next season of crown !
Aye, and nothing from the kilt-lifters either.....
