I was part of the layoff, and accepted a job in the same field a month ago. I am now number 1 in sales! I don't have to follow a script like the Voice of Pearson which made us sound like robots. I have real conversations with people. Kevin, WHATEVER metrics you SAID you used were wrong, and we tried to tell you that. You let TOP performers go, and I am sure they are also thriving in there new jobs. Kevin, your superiors will soon learn that it was a mistake to hire you. I am sure they already know.

You don't lose credibility over a typo. You lose credibility when you layoff a massive amount of employees using incorrect information which is the topic of this thread!
I agree with the writer. Why be a jerk over a typo? If the person who is a jerk read the whole thread, you can clearly see that the first response to the post was the writer fixing the typo. You can't make updates to your post after you post something. Don't be a jerk!
Why would I lie about being number 1 in sales? Put your email in this thread and I will email you the report that proves it. What is wrong with you?
To the person that questioned by credibility, I corrected the typo a minute after the original post. . Wow, I guess you never make a typo????
In higher ed nobody becomes Number 1 in sales after a month.
Writers: if you write there when you should have written their, you undermine your own credibility. So there.
It appears that KW and SDB were wrong about laying people off? I heard that they didn’t understand data and that they are rehiring back the volume and that some of the employees are back because SDB and KW didn’t understand data and they really were good employees? How do these two people still lead us?
To the person who is referring to the publishing division, I was part of the POLS division as in higher education.
You do know that Kevin is no longer at Pearson. This is months old news....
You seem like a guy who really has his ear to the ground in the publishing industry....
Damn, same industry? Fool me once....same on you, fool me twice....
Typo...their new jobs.
