They hide behind the flags of inclusion and equality but their actions go against their own preaching.
Everyone deserves to be rewarded for their hard work, any grade level.
But they practice "What is good for me is not good for thee"

Since our company is so inclusive and so into equality....... we decided that the best way to handle the decline of our stock price is to save some money by NOT rewarding all of our employees equally,..so in that spirit....grades 157 and above will not get a salary increase and will NOT get a promotion because we feel that they already make too much......however grades 156 and below will not be affected because we need to lookout for the little peiple well... like you. Execs are exempt of course since we really gotta feed the big dogs.

I don't mind these big difficult jobs getting raises but it would piss me off if a useless exec like SVP of business excellence is getting a raise.
