Fck em. What are they going to do anyway? Not sure about other departments but I know in my area we are extremely short on labor. You remove me and big big things go down. You remove any of my other coworkers and big things go down. We can't cover for each other. We're taking on new things and due to urgency and risk of things dropping we don't have the luxury of learning each others things. I'm overloaded as it is so you remove another person that stuff just falls through the cracks. I'm not even worried about a layoff at this point. A layoff at this stage means total collapse of the system. Actually, we've seen one collapse already.

Wait till mid Sept or so, they need that 90 days to clear the search period, they ALWAYS do one prior to Dec 31 and pad saved wages paid against the bottom line going into the new year.
