What would stop you from leaving the company?
Is the writing on the wall or is the company going to come back, stronger than ever (may be a stretch, but hey...)?

@etk - haven't they already announced that they will cut your salary (up to 7%), by taking away the stock match?
I am happy getting paid for now, but I am definitely thinking about leaving. I am a recent new grad hire with little experience under my belt, but I don’t think I can stand working for a company that treats their people like this. The secrets, lack of transparency, and complete lack of care for employee well being is enough to drive me out. In having conversations with other recent new grad hires, they are all planning to leave within the next 3 years as well (if they aren’t laid off first). Every day, I am reminded that I don’t owe this company anything because they can fire me at any point with absolutely no remorse.
The company will be nationalized (turned 'govuhment' in layman's terms).
They looked at Aramco model - and it looks ok.
Rewarding what new behavior? I saw a few corrupt people stay ranked high this year. Seems it la based on who your friends are.
It is hard to leave with 20+ years. I just have to buckle down and try to do what I can to make it a better preforming company. The selfish people in leadership roles is by far the biggest problem, but the ranking system of the past rewarded that behavior. I think this past year they started rewarding new behavior - we will see ?
Been using my WFH time to learn new skills, investments, Netflix, exercise and read. Been spending most of the rest of the time making effort to prepare nice power point sharing to the team. Why bother to leave EM?
I will continue to work hard and give it everything I have just like I was taught but I will be saving more and keeping an eye out for other opportunities. One thing I will do is network more and learn transferable skills to take with me.

Same here. Watch what happens, save and have an exit plan. If cuts are as deep as the rumors say then things will get ugly.
I was very fortunate to rank well this year but making my exit plans. It's very discouraging to rank well and lose my match with no hopes of advancement/pay increases. If anything ranking well has just turned into keeping a job with a shrinking paycheck. Not what ExxonMobil sold me on when I joined.
No plans to leave but I am spending time these days ramping up my technical skills. I have also cut my expenses and am saving more money in my savings.
I will stay unless they cut salaries or threaten to take away pension benefits. It’s a toxic environment right now, senior managers have clearly lost the plot. But there are good people to work with and they have always paid better than most similar employers. Oil might come back in 5 years and there might be room for advancement if all the old dogs retire during this downsizing move. A lot of crusty people that were difficult have already retired or announced their plans to do so. Unless they offer an amazing separation package, I will stay. I mean, in today’s environment, who is hiring?
Not leaving but we are using the time to prepare.. just in case..

Preaching to the choir here... nobody actually at EM who isn’t at least thinking about leaving would be on this site. The rest are trolls with an agenda irrelevant to the focus of this site.
