Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Have seen a few references that indicate if you pass PIP, but then get NI? or NSI? In the next 5 years your are automatically dismissed. Does anyone know that that is a fact of the new system?

NI or NSI, you are being misbranded. You will be out before the next cycle starts again.

An employee shared he worked for x years, LT told the employee he was misfit to the organization. NSI the employee without justification.
This LT has no balls to provide evidence on the misfit.
I advise you start updating your CV, this company never value any effort you put in PIP, trust me!

I heard you are not even given the 3 month pay (PIL), you are just terminated immediately

This is fact. If you have been PIP’d anytime in a 5 year period after being assessed NI or NSI again you are only eligible for PIL

Once you are PIPd, you are marked forever in your entire XOM career wherever you go. And during ranking, you are most likely to be picked again in the bottom pit.
