Thread regarding Hitachi Vantara layoffs

Whats the most corrupt thing to happen on your team?

This is this most brokenselffootshooting company i have ever been a part of . What have you witnessed on your team since you have been here past-present? For myself- harassment, nepotism, managers sleeping with employees, and professional retaliation.

It's bolox, likely perpetrated by the same anon. Is a company exec likely to be posting here and "secretly" obscuring some of the letters of his surname?

That’s not fair! BS is great for sowing fields. Did you notice that one of them responded to an earlier post?

There’s an old saying ‘It’s a lot easier to maintain a customer than it is to get a new one ‘. With customers leaving in droves HV and the GK team don’t stand a chance. Enjoy the Rocky movies when you can.

the company has been promoting ppl with no experience or incompetent. Its a buddy or favorite culture, if you are good buddy or a favorite from the boss, you basically do not have to do anything. these no experience or incompetent ppl just attend meetings and their calendar is practically full every week.. hahaha.. go figure!

I worked on a team that had a very dysfunctional culture of punishment and holding employees down to a set of ridiculous sales-prevention rules. The regime was eventually broken down but the sales-prevention culture carried into the future. Additionally, employees were discouraged from showing initiative and actually punished, ostracized and even retaliated for putting forth suggestions.

My team promoted a guy on our team, who is still employed with the company, who said the value of the dollar would drop if we put a woman on it. We are in 2020. This guy is still on the team. With people reporting to him.

The "Brad and Bobby" show has produced nothing but the proliferation of cronyism and scapegoating - their lack of leadership has accelerated the demise of what was once a wonderful culture of innovation. A lack of accountability is pervasive, as evidenced by the layers of management created between top leadership and the Field. I can only hope GK realizes the headwinds he faces and gets the required advocacy from HQ (JPN) for massive overhaul (flush the current leadership) while there's still something to salvage..

agreed with the comment below– its all about the vision, harassment and favoritism have nothing to do with how employees operate at the company, dude.

Dude, if thats the problem you have with the company instead of things like lack of vision, s—y management team, lack of focus, etc. then you should brace for more of the same.

See if the new management team coming in are friends and family or truly headhunted folks from a diverse group of companies.

BTW, management sleeping with employees is a practice as old as original sin. No point getting upset about it unless it is coerced.
