To be fair, you know Apple and Alphabet are not on there either...
Speak a lot about a company when insiders are saying competition is better. Facts seems to validate it.. hopefully Exxon appoints a new CEO to do some Housekeeping..
Chevron is closing in. They aren't cutting pensions or 401k and are transparent about letting it's people go. Not hiding behind PIP's they claim only affect bad performers.
@hda+16GXoOQ6 no one is banking on the failure of another company. O&G is going to be a failure in the decades to come.
@xey+16GXoOQ6 i second that, they do run the company well and protect their shareholders interest. Exxon wise.. we are still in the denial stage.. that we are the best and everyone is at our mercy for work.. I’ve seen employees that spent so much time on non work related matters (AEC,WIN, BEST...) and are hi-potentials because of it. These are the people making the decisions in investments! No wonder we are here today..
If we are banking on the failure of another company (Chevron dropping off), then it really shows how much we've sunk as a company. So much for Exxon being at the top
Maybe so, but O&G is not growing and is not the future. Soon enough chevron will fall off the DJIA. Both exxon and chevron are going to be dealing with a contracting industry for the next number of decades.
Chevron has better leadership.
