These lazy f—ers who have been around for years and years weren’t interested in moving on nor getting another job. They simply can’t survive anywhere with their laziness and unwillingness to word hard. If you were smart, you would have got out of the sinking ship last year!

It’s Over
The BoD flew this company into a smoldering pit at 470 knots Twice and then some...
The KC-46 Tanker, Flying Molotov
The wannabe 737, Maxdeathtrap
The wannabe StarLiner, Deathstar
The company is as dead as the 346 passengers they murdered

What a bunch of snowflakes! These people with high “seniority” who thought they were untouchables are now suffering the consequences of being lazy for years and years while the union protected them. I don’t feel sorry for you not even a bit

Should we begin the process of decertifying both IAM union and SPEEA union?

I am sorry your son was laid off. But blaming the "big bad company" is laughable at best.

Nothing is forever. It is well known that the aircraft industry has its ups and downs. He should have gone in knowing this. The internet is a wonderful thing.

He made a choice to work at Beong
He made a choice to buy a new car
He made a choice to buy a house.

Its ok to buybthose things, but you have to have money put away to live if you lose your job.

When I graduated, they told us we would work for 3 to 4 companies in our careers, there's no "lifetime jobs" anymore. I'm on job number 4. I will probably exceed 4. Kids coming in today are told they will.work for 8 to 10 companies.

I have been laid off 4 times in my career. I have been through two companies that no longer exist. When the market drops, its not about being a bad employee, its about the company cutting costs. I got out there, I interviewed and I got another job. I never lost my house, my car, or moved back with my parents, nor did I ever ask my parents for money. I live within my means.

If you did not prepare your offspring for this eventuality, that's on you, not him.

He is not "entitled" to a specific lifestyle. None of us are. I am glad you are willing to take him in, but make him look for another job and nothing is "beneath" him

I forgot to mention, I posted right below regarding retentions, it IS in the contract that the Co. can retain up to 4.5% of the workforce, for whatever reason; but between what I’m hearing others say & what I’m witnessing with my own eyes, the #s seem off.....& talking to the union about it really gets you nowhere. So, the hardworking, well meaning employees who just went out the door, or are soon to, how does that make you feel? I’m not trying to stir up any sh–, just bringing up something that is really happening, as I speak....

Boeing has the best Flake _ Fake _ Disingenuous union they could buy

Something that isn’t being talked about, for every 20-30 people receiving WARNs, the Co. is retaining people at will.... & the union is MIA on this matter, of course.... good workers are going out the door while a– kissers are getting retained ..... people with higher seniority are getting shoved out while lower seniority people are getting retained....
why is no one talking about that?

Yes, they grabbed my son before he graduated
They put a bag over his head and stuffed him in a van
They held him in a Boeing Black Site until he broke.
They brained washed him to believe Boeing was his family
They forced feed him Boeing Blue Kool-Aid until his mind was gone
They took his “brand new car”
They took his “house”
Now he’s back in my home, empty handed
Not even a supply Boeing Blue Kool-Aid
What are we to do?

This is real bad. Horrible business, they grabbed my son before he graduated his aviation Maintaince school and made the kid settle in wa, bought a house , a brand new car and set his lifestyle on that job and now all of the sudden , he has to drop all of that and head back home empty handed. , my son could’ve had a better opportunity at a job that he can keep for life , now the whole family is scrambling on what to do and not let my son feel the pain

Aerospace and defense giant Boeing miraculously gets to stay on as a
Dow Jones blue-chip while more deserving entities get the boot.

It’s who you buy off that matters,
Not how good you are and Not hot reputable you are
To the Wall Street crowed the more repugnant the better

  1. Boeing Is a Business in Decline

Many companies have suffered amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
For Boeing, its failings existed long before the year started.
The pandemic has only exacerbated Boeing’s problems and accelerated
revenue losses. In the future, it will get worse before it gets better.

((ILO)) Voluntold Get-Out we have no need of you

by

Post ID: @iaq+16GSSPoV

A VLO is a voluntary offer, you either accept or do nothing. It’s not a WARN, if you accept the VLo management will review it and either accept your VLO with the terms offered to you or decline meaning even though you accepted the VLO, you won’t leave.

An ILO may or may not be a WARN. When companies lay off more than 100 people, law requires them to give you a WARN notice 60 day advanced notice.

If you don’t perform or screw up something pretty bad you can receive an Non-WARN ILO meaning you are fired immediately (no 60 day notice).

You don’t decline a VLO you accept. After you accept you usually will have a few days to change your mind after that time frame your are held to your decision.

I did not take the VLO then got the ILO but at least it’s a few more months of pay
