TikTok CEO quit

So they were going to sell TikTok without the CEO's knowledge? Things must really be messed up there. Any idea what happened there and what could happen next? There are some sources who say that the CEO's exit indicates that a deal, likely a sale to Microsoft, could come in the next hours.

I don’t believe Oracle had any interest in buying TikTok- only reason they jumped in is to get into news cycle and get some stock appreciation.

Obviously the thought of being even remotely associated with ORCL was enough to make him quit as CEO and hole up in a cave somewhere.

I think he more than likely quite despite who buys the company. He went from top dog to reporting to some different top dog at a lager enterprise. Smart move on his part.
