Company went down in flames for rush. Stores were not staffed, stores lucky enough to get temps found they got paid better than the regular staff who stuck with the company through all this, curbside app got rolled out after rush started so it was too late to implement. Even at stores with Access, our one last profitable program, the stores were under-resources and could not deliver, and the Access team (who work hard, not bashing them) are not large enough to get CRFs done in a time. Vendors still saying they have not been paid. People at the top decided the cuts would save more than the lost business and left the store to burn. Expect a lot of lost or cancelled contracts, which may just be their goal. Wouldn’t be surprised if the game plan is to whittle down to Access and Virtual stores and eliminate the full service bookstore. Either we are so under water they could not afford to try it this was a deliberate act of sabotage.

Self immolation? Didn’t Peewee Herman get arrested for that?
How bad are financials looking so far? I'm assuming still a lot of schools not even in rush yet.
Lol @ "Bonus Checks"
Holy H3LL !!
Worst rush in the history of Rushes !
School will demand a meeting after this mess no doubt!
Blame shifting all around
My mantra is hang in there til Bonus checks
and get off this sinking ship
Immolation is an apt word, and if any company’s performance deserved that description, it’s this one. Textbook sales at my store evaporated this week.
My RM has been absent too. Checked out a few weeks ago
My RM out west has been extremely silent, even more than he usually is. It’s not that big of a deal, he’s been useless since they promoted him but it’d be nice to get something so we don’t feel completely alone in all of this.
how much are the temps getting paid?
Our school has 273 positive cases in first week. Classes are online but students are in dorms. At some point they'll have to send them all home.
Regional Managers are quietly sending out resumes as they know their time is almost up.
What's the word been overall? I feel like we haven't heard much of anything from upper management in weeks. Not even those fake BS "okay go team, let's have a great rush!!" emails we used to get. A lot of silence coming from the top.
