Word on the agency street is HLK sells way better than their actual ability to do the work. The turnover is high for a reason.

1) Agencies are suited to creative, branding, media buying, communications. People who work there are experts. Despite all these pluses, they are not, by and large, temperamentally suited for corporate work, legal and compliance workthroughs, and general corporate BS. (Account people who are, become clients because they want the full picture, not the pieces.)
2) Sadly, millions do not inoculate a CEO of long tenure (24 years, certainly a near record) from acting like an fool in the Autumn of His Years.
