So with a little chuckle TW announced he took the assessment and received his results. That’s awesome. And he was amazed how accurate it was. We were all told the we would not receive the results of our assessments as it’s not a pass/fail. So why not allow us to see our results? Why so secretive? What happened to “TRANSPARENCY”. Not right TW! Guess it’s good to be King!

The master plan is to turn Allstate into Esurance and outsource the jobs they can to India to make it look more profitable and then sell the company and make millions for themselves.
I wouldn’t get too worked up over stuff like this. The fact is, they’ve created a master plan which will bring Allstate untold success but unfortunately some employees can’t be included in that vision. The decision’s already been made and they’re going to have to reduce employee headcount. Nothing can be done about it. Getting worked up won’t fix anything nor will it make you feel any better.
I’m glad leaders are reading this board. That became clear when someone suggested recording conferences and the next town hall started with a statement about not recording. You’ve guaranteed a lot of “redudndant” employees will k–l your market share just by word of mouth.

I worked for Allstate for 32 years before taking the vto in 2006. Best move I ever made. Not the same company at all anymore. They don't care about their employees.
Totally cold and insensitive. He took it for curiosity. We took it for our jobs and to feed our families. Really crummy. I’ve heard a lot of people were upset and offended. Even people who didn’t have to take it were mad bc friends had to and are very worried. Really really bad. Every meeting he says something awful.

I could only take listening to the call for a half hour. I didn't make it to the question and answers because they always appear scripted. I've asked a question and know others have also and they were never brought up. My opinion from months ago hasn't changed. They plan to torture employees by dragging this out as long as possible and pushing people to quit or die from the stress of this combined with ongoing covjd concerns.
Today’s call was ridiculous. Tom just put salt on the wound by showing zero sensitivity. He admitted the questions made no sense and then laughed. They look have no clue. They have no empathy. Allstate culture has been DESTROYED. What was once a great American company which truly took care of their employees is no more. No Tom, I’m not proud of Allstate. I’m actually disgusted.
Really horrible.. it’s almost like they’re trying to make you hate Allstate so you will be relieved to be let go.. for me personally with my age and the years of service, the longer they push it out the better .. but this really blows
Agreed with poster below. Couldn't believe how out of touch it was.
They just want us to keep working through this hurricane season. They already know who’s getting let go. That’s why they told us we all have to wait up to two months post assessment and we will not know our individual results. I just want my severance so I’m going to hang on I guess. I’m wishing everyone the best during these really strange times.
