I actually bought quite a few Sears e-gift cards on Raise.com to pay for a ping pong table.
I get my grandmom a gift card every Christmas so she can buy her Jean`Nate perfume.
I dont know what she will do once the stores close.

Was in Sears a few weeks back. The tool boxes were in sale with some text below stating you can opt to get a gift card for the difference plus 10%. Hard pass here.
