Any luck fixing this problem?
Seeing that WS got hit with a bug makes me laugh out loud!
This is what WINning looks like right TT? LMFAO
Work is outsourced to IBM who outsources to Wipro who outsources to someone else and so on. We have given the door keys to a bunch of clueless Bangaloreans making pennies an hour. What do you think happens when a black hat comes along and offers him more than a month’s salary for his password?
its not the employee's responsibility to report their manager. That would be the manager's direct boss, obviously. Delegating mgmt tasks to employees just means we don't need mgmt.
I’m curious why you haven’t ratted your boss out for not coming into the office in 9 months... You lazy
The type of Ransomware that we were hit with sends the contents of every file it touches to the bad guys. This could be a huge data breach.
They wanted us to sit in the CO’s just for “appearance”. Everyone has been sitting home thru this outage telling management what they want to hear, that we are onsite. Manager hasnt been in once all year, so there is no way I am going in.
From an internal communication:
WINDSTREAM is currently experiencing system issues related to ransomware that is restricting access to certain internal applications and resulting in longer than normal response times. At this time, we have no evidence that customer data was taken by the actors, but this will be a focus of our ongoing investigation moving forward. We are working to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as they become available.
But TT said we were a software power house! But some how we can't even keep our own systems running.
What a day ... techs everywhere playing pocket pool. No leadership for direction either. I know , it’s hard to believe
Phone systems, mss, and quite a few other systems have been down for over 24 hours.
Talent doesn't matter when you are selling the company off in pieces. it's moneym
2020 might be turning a corner HaHa! Kept outsourcing and cutting corners and now you are helpless with no talent left in the company to resolve the issues.
Yeah if you can't read the sign and want to follow your leader, good luck and stick in there. It's kind of like the Waco stuff. They didn't last long sadly enough. The difference is you won't last but TT will walk out with a big ole smile. Ching Ching.
Windstream has been taken for ransom. You can't make this stuff up.
Our sh!t ain’t working today. That’s all
Is this how we’re maximizing win-win outcomes in this world of infinite possibilities?
The whole Windstream shenanigans are halarious. Man this company couldn't run a Circus. It's fun and amusing to see everyone's post. Now don't misunderstand me, I pray and feel for everyone in the real world. TT the clown isn't in the real world. When he goes home everyday, he doesn't check is bank account to see how he will pay bills. He has our raises and cost of livings in his account and adding to it every day. It's a fun financial game. Remember he is trained in money, not a CEO obviously.
Ransomware attack? Oh my.
I hope you see this Tony Thomas, at the end of the day you're nothing more than a crook and a failure.
Nobody respects you, you're a piece of trash in most peoples' minds. You know what they say about karma ..............
I guess TT's AI didn't catch this outage either. Anyone else notice these critical system outages are getting more frequent and lasting longer and longer. And seem to take place after a layoff....... but then again, those are getting as frequent as the weather changing. Anyone else having issues with WS managed networks having the configs changed in the managed router/switch/firewall in the last month? My area has had several.
Don’t worry LL Will have it corrected in no time at all. ....LOL
Wireless and internal phone systems are owned by WAN group. As far as I know, none of WAN has been outsourced or laid off. Not sure why they are spared.
Yesterday, today, tomorrow and probably for the next 2 weeks. What a nightmare.
Well hell don't just post some vague comment. Let us who were part of the outsourcing know what is going on.
Internal phone system is down for past two days. Currently no off-net connectivity for workstations w/ multiple internal systems/services down.
Let's hear some details! All I've seen is Tableau is down.
I was one of the outsourced IT guys. What the heck happened today?
