So, there's an Ops coordinator on the 600 line who has been out since last week. He has tested positive for COVID-19 and no one is saying a word about it.

There’s been service team managers, mechanics, leads, all who’ve had covid and nobody breathed a word of it. Just, “they’re on vacation.” I feel they really don’t care about the health of the employees and are only doing this to keep the doors open. Which is fine, but... they take your temp at the gate and don’t tell you because,” it’s a private matter.” When in fact it’s because temperature readings are rarely correct.
It would be nice to at least be informed of confirmed cases. I know over at mahogany row they don’t see us or our families... but we do.
Good! Best news I’ve heard all day.
Yawn.
History repeats itself...
"By the summer of 1919, the flu pandemic came to an end, as those that were infected either d[13]d or developed immunity."
I suppose C-19 will have a similar outcome. I am skeptical that the vaccine will help. If people are not willing to wear a mask I doubt that they will get the vaccine. Then you have the individuals that are vaccine hesitant. Also, who knows how effective the vaccine will be? Will we need booster shots? Can an individual be reinfected? How accurate have the tests been? False positive gives individuals a false sense of security.
No one cares anymore, look at Sturgis, look at all the college parties and the beaches, and the president is not doing anything to help. There are two known cases in Dallas In one hanger and nobody batted an eye.
One should treat everyone that one comes into contact with as if they were Covid19 positive. Also, as if oneself is Covid19 positive. Take the proper precautions (wash hands, do not touch your face, wear a mask and maintain social distance if possible) that you see fit and necessary. If it really concerns you then perhaps you may want to consider avoiding public places where you may come into contact with Covid19 positive individuals (work, stores, restaurant and such). Most places have curbside pick up or delivery available. Wear a mask or don't. To each their own. If you leave your home you may be exposed to Covid19. If you stay home you may be exposed to Covid19. What may be right for you may not be right for another. Live and let live.
