No real training, just dropped in a slot to work tickets in the middle of nowhere. It's all about the tickets (numbers). Hearing very bad things such as previous employee who had excellent reviews and no raises after 5 years of service. Your money isn't work as much in 2020 as it was in 2015... rates of inflation and cost of living at the very least. What used to cost a dollar now costs 1.07, so you're actually loosing money if you stay with a company that never gives you even a slight increase.
My manager is a joke and actually serves no purpose. He just goes around the table on the conference call to see if there are any new issues at his respective sites. I'm not sure why he even bothers to do that, because if you're having some sort of an issue, the response is to reach out to so and so on your team (who's likely on the conference call).
I don't expect growth opportunity with this company, and am afraid they will eventually loose the contract. Information Technology has gone down the toilet (which goes by the name of Outsourcing) and it amazes me that client companies don't seem to get basic concepts (such as you'll never get the same level of support with a contractor company as from your own staff).
Between the red tape dealing with DXC and the red tape of the client company (which doesn't really trust DXC employees, they just seek troubleshooting bodies) I'd like to leave, but there's no where to go during these crazy Times...
