I have seen post about everyone can calm down and Windstream is a great company. Even post about how ILEC techs are working overtime. I am happy for you ILEC folks, but let's face the facts. Thursday July 23rd on a Thursday was again a prime example of Windstream's track record. They have been doing it for years like clockwork. There is an old saying "See the writing on the wall". Years of hands on calls and town hall prep talks about Windstream's glorious future. TT praises the upper leadership about their leadership if you want to call them leadership. When you sit back and read all of post here and see constant layoffs, bankruptcy, Elliot taking control, allworks gone, IT overseas, disconnects after disconnect you just have to bite the bullet and let a cancer out of your life. Yes you may have given many years of service, I did, but in one dart throw you can be gone. That is a fact. So instead of thinking Windstream will keep you because you are valuable, think again. You folks go follow your dreams and find a company that does value your hard work. It won't be easy, but it's easier than living in constant fear. Just my opinion.

That's real. I gave them plenty of years, busting my butt. Came to work one day and didn't even make it to my desk. I don't care how valuable you think you are, it won't stop you from getting laid off tomorrow. Trust that.
I have had enough of the constant promise of a brighter future with no results. My notice has been given.
At least WS has joined the cancel culture and PC movement. Gives me a nice warm fuzzy feeling.
Most of your team across the country were the darts on the board and yes the work has to get done. In my opinion you and the team that doesn't exist are doing the work for leadership that doesn't care. Understand that the tank is almost empty and it won't get a full up on your Honda Accord. That gas is reserved for the BMW's and Mercedes. They are smart enough to know we are dumb enough to fill their tanks.
Well said. I am not sure how much gas I have left in the tank. Most of my team across the country was let go this week but the work still needs to get done. I am not sure how much thought went into that. You cannot squeeze blood from a stone.
The executives at WINMQ represent the orcharesta on the deck of the Titanic. The music keeps playing as everyone scrambles to find life boats. Some people jump to their death into the icy Atlantic other find a life boat and are rescued. In the mean time no one looks to find out where the gouge in the side of the ship came from or how to seal it off.
