Anyone have experience with the temps that are coming from NXTpro?

Who shows up to work in a tank top, flip flops and a vulgar face mask? Our temp did today! Sent her on her way.
A bad job just got worse?
Got called back to store for rush after being laid off, long term employee, 15 years, now I have to have a phone interview with NXT company for my old Position? What gives with this?
And DF get's another award for innovation!
The Senior Management motto, WE NEVER FAIL!
This is all a cash flow play. Temp agency pays employees per law, Follett pays temp agency after 90 or 120 days. The temp agency is in for a rude awakening.
"Our temps showed up one day and then
never show up the next day. Move in is on Wednesday. We have 1 salary, 2 hourly managers and 3 part time employees. We are required to have a door person because we must maintain minimum occupancy. How are we going to survive the next two weeks? We are also open Saturday and Sunday and online orders are priority #1. How on Earth are we supposed to do this sh–? Textbooks is counter service Curbside pickup. Online order pick up. Door person and cash register. Oh, and no overtime".
The answer is simple... salaried employees work 100 hours per week! As Follett will tell you, they've been coddled too long... Hiring a temp agency was a masterstroke of payroll reduction!

Requested 65 (need over 100), we’ve gotten 3. Our classes start next week.
Temp service has not sent us any employees yet and we can not hire students ourselves this year. The Follett yacht is on fire and the deck is being sprayed with gasoline.
We had two temps show up and then not come back the next day. If they had allowed our store to hire our own, I would've had 6 people already. Apparently the process through the temp agency is a hassel according to the guy that came in y'day and bailed on us today.
It’s a mess in regions in the NE. People stuck in the pipeline. It’s a joke. Follett is on its way out of business indeed.
Has anyone actually gotten any temps yet?
You will get bottom of the barrel employees. If you are not a VP, Follett is only interested in the lowest cost option. Remember that NXTpro will get a cut of the action for their services so you can only imagine the sh– that will be employed. Outsourcing is only used by desperate companies who are on their way out of business.
Not true, had a good relationship with campus contact, helped recruit a few great associates, not many. Students do not want to work at minimum wage & then get cut after 2 weeks.
You think? In spite of Glassdoor's glowing reviews?
REALLY SAD.
I was an SM for over 20 years. If you can't partner with your campus to find student workers something is wrong with you and your campus's relationship.
Not yet for me, but we at my store are very nervous about the quality of people we are going to get.
