Heard IT had RIFs. Anyone else?

North America RIFs continues today.
IT RIF's started on Monday and have continued through today. These have included Engineers up through VPs.
seems the majority of these rifs are occurring in North America.
Don’t do it if it gets assigned, if you think you will be let go, get a case to go on medical leave in these trying times before they RIF you
Picking up the slack is not an option in this case, it is assigned.
As for slow down, sure.......good luck with that.
Work your hours and enjoy your life. Picking up slack is foolish. Work for what you get aid for if overtime is paid take it if it’s what you want. If no pay then no work. Look at it like this - would BD or PZ come work for you and not get compensated?
If you think it is only a matter of time, why pick up the slack so PZ and BD can get paid 20M a year with 200% STI just to RIF 5k to 10k resources over the next 3 years??? Do the bare minimum
Good people let go today. This is just pathetic. I hope this company suffers (more) for this.
We that remain will have to now pickup the slack and continue with the knowledge that our time will come soon enough. Just plain rotten.
