I started getting unemployment about a month ago. Did you file a new entry? GAC only filed for the first two weeks for us.
Do your work and not be a butt kisser to upper management. Also, actually do your own work and don't pass it off to others. How I made sure I was on the list.
It would be nice if we were actually getting unemployment. I got my approval letter for May claims on July 7th. I still have not seen a dime.
Work hard every day. Make friends and prove you’re valuable to the company. That will get you on the lay-off list.
Take medical leave for a necessary procedure that you've been putting off while in daily pain to finish an important project you are leading.
Context: Worked for me in 2015 layoffs.
