There is simply too much to do. I feel bad for my colleagues because I don’t have enough time to transition all my work and complete all the corporate tutorials/processes need to end a career of 32 years. This is a post for my colleagues who are next.

In this environment you need to practice self preservation. Looking out for yourself is your #1 priority
So about all that exit gracefully malarky... you no longer work here, you are now a financial liability to the 'new business strategy'. All the work will be done in its way, regardless. Turn away now and run is the best thing to do.
It's reduced to 14 days, it's not going back to 60 days. Lets hope they don't start reducing the severance from a max of 6 months, but we know they likely will, but how soon?
There is zero chance my responsibilities could be transferred in 14 days. Much of what I do has hard deadlines each month and quarter. I know I am replaceable but hoping this keeps me higher in the rankings and just a bit safer. Have been here over 20 years and have been surplussed twice so I know how these things go.
Once something is taken away, it's never coming back. Certainly not for those of us in the trenches. Unlike the VP's with retirement off-payroll dates extended thru the end of the year, because they have 'critical' projects they are overseeing.

The sooner you realize THEY DON’T CARE, and neither should you, the better off you will be.
My severance is being threatened. 14 days was leadership’s idea and specifically el-jeffe’s. So don’t take it out on me if the bozos that are left have no skills.
I agree about career being too long. Share what you did and what you got paid and all your ex coworkers will agree with me.
Do not worry about transitioning you work to someone else, because you coworker is next in line to be laid off. Imagine you are passing the olympic flame. That is how the games begin.
I came in with class and I’m leaving with class. 14 days is a short runway but that was not my decision. I’m doing my best to transition as much knowledge as I can but my coworkers are sharp and they’ll find a way to get the job done.
It's just business don't be a tool and worry one iota about transitions, your a schmuck if you do.... The company no longer needs your services, so now it's there problem to figure it out. Just business not personal, think like a cold and heartless executive.
Anyone who says you should feel "guilty," cause you put your co-workers in a bind, well that wasn't your decision that was managements, let them reap what they sew. There's zero benefit to you playing the loyal corporate soldier, your co workers will survive, life will go on...enjoy your departure...

On a townhall they said it’s 2 weeks going forward. There won’t be new jobs available.
Please don’t complain, or next they will get the bright idea to force everyone in the company to take compliance courses to prepare for leaving (just in case) And then decrease it from 14 days to zero days!
They won’t give a c-ap about you after you’re gone. As far as they’re concerned you just dropped dead.
I would not spend more than 30 minutes over those 14 days in transitioning work. That is not your job. McElfrish made that clear.

ha ha ha... I had 37 years and when I got notified, I just stopped working and used the 60 day notification period as a paid vacation. The hell with transitioning work. Just stop and don't worry about it.

Hoping you get past that quickly. Don't worry about any graceful transition. The company took the ability for you to do so away from you. Your remaining team will understand.
