Wasn't that the issue? He didn't act like the others. Diversity in 'thought' or 'style', in addition to just plain old fashioned diversity is completely no-existent. You either conform or get ousted. That's why even the 'good ones' won't ever create change that is needed, at the risk of their own success. It's way easier to take the easy road of justifying poor leadership than sticking out like a sore thumb and rocking the boat. Case in point.
