I'm a GM who cant do WFH and my location is closing. Doesnt leave me many options so looks like severance. HR will tell you options are severance or relocation if you cant do WFH, or move to area with real internet. Is what it is.
Dont be scared of your HRBP.. they have a job to do like us all and it is largely disseminating information

Take the "in it together " week 7 course, it will show you testimonials of retail reps working from home. Its from a one sided company perspective.
This affects a lot of people. Why post if you are just gonna be mean?
Grow a pair and ask.
