Do any of us think vendor Specialists are a past conclusion? Will it be One Belk forever, even in top tier stores?

I think the vendor specialist role has been absorbed into One Belk along with commision on ladies shoes. I don't see either returning.
Oh yes vendor specialists are a thing of the past. Belk One is here for the long term, Belk will milk that until it filed bankruptcy and wants CHEAP labor in the meantime (under $10 per hr) in all stores. Their target employee is under 22 who will not question why she cannot use the bathroom until the end of her shift and is happy with 20 hrs at $9/hr, and doing the job of four other people.
