I was an STM in 2012 I made $37,000
Store managers salaries can be as low as $65,000 or as high as $150,000, stm salaries can be as low as $32,000 or as high as $60,000, associates can make as low as $9/hr or as high as $27/hr, DM salaries can be as low as $150,000 to as high as $250,000, cosmetics counter manager salaries can range from $17/hr to $30/hr, so a wide variety of pay rates and ranges out there.
Our store manager drives a 2007 Chevy with no hubcaps I doubt she makes $120,000
Our DM made $200,000

This is what "some" got paid. There were major discrepancies in all areas..
STM- $47k/yr
Store Manater - $120k/yr
Visual Manager - $22/hr, but got "rewritten" as a Lead, knocked down to $15/hr
Visual Associate - $14/hr to start
Cosmetics (Belk side) Counter Manager - $90k/yr with goal of $100k
Frangrance Sales Associate - $18.78/hr
Home Store Sales Associate (Consultant level circa 2011) - $26/hr
Kids Dept Sales Associate/Polo Specialist - $13/hr with a goal of higher + $200 bonus per pay period
Receiving Manager - $26/hr
Receiving Associates - $8.40- $15/hr
Dock "Lead" - $47k/yr plus manager privilege, without manager training
Housekeeping (in-store, not contracted) - Minimum Wage
some store managers can make $100,000+ with bonus
