I just got an email indicating the new structure of my group (within Arroyo > Welday), and it drilled down to all levels. My name, and the name of my colleagues was included.
Without coming off as too naive (and really more showing my lack of trust in leadership), does this mean me and my comrades have been spared the knife this time around? Or is that just wishful thinking until the real news hits.
Yeah, I'm stressed and looking for some sort of lifeline of hope.
I don't understand as our org has actually added more VP's from 40 something to now 50 something...what gives?

Maybe, just maybe, it's because the leaders in this company don't tell us anything at all, leaving employees nervous, stressed, confused, and desperate enough to come to a random website to try and gain information from anonymous posters who have just as little information or understanding about things.

You name will be in a box until after you have been advised of a surplus. This isnt their first time. They wouldnt make that mistake. They wouldnt want you to know until you should know.
Not to be negative Nancy.... but they haven’t thinned the herd at that level yet. Once they’ve gotten down to L3 and L4 then I think you can assume you’re safe. Until then I wouldn’t count on it
