I hope you can find some encouragement in these times.
I try to look, even at the smaller things like life, family, friends, etc. in times like these.
I guess it’s a good sign that folks are not posting as frequently.
Getting over being let go, signing up for unemployment or concentrating on doing the best we can right now seems to be our best bet.

NOV had its issues, but most corporations, especially large ones in energy do.
I’ve got nearly 30 years as a mechanical engineer and before my time at NOV have worked in military, aerospace forging design, heavy industrial, construction, utility turbine repair all after serving in the US Army as a mechanic.
However, if McDonalds was the only place hiring, I would work there too, furthermore, I would never run a man down for his job if his work is honest.
Just because some folks in Hollywood get on their pay by running down the working man doesn’t mean we have to buy into that sh_t !

McDonalds is always hiring. Shoulda went to college they always tried to tell you growing up. For most, NOV was the best you could ever get. Green energy is the future, not oil polluting fossil fuels.
Why don't you all team up and build your own company with good work environment?
