Wtf do you mean 'who cares'... we are all visiting a website....which has the soul purpose of providing layoff information and layoff speculation. It's literally In the name of the website..
I love how people ask “what departments? What area were the layoffs in?”
WHO CARES? It should not matter to you. Layoffs are random, and it’s done that way for a reason. You will never be safe. You are less safe now more than ever. The only reason people stay there is out of fear of change. They realize they have done nothing to improve their career or plan for the future, and they have been coasting on proprietary Windstream knowledge for years. There are lots people who are screwed when the ax comes because they have no transferable knowledge. Companies like Windstream know this And take advantage of it. All the smart ones who left on their own had a plan.
I was in the lay-off on Thursday. also not surprised expected it years ago when WS took over my legacy company just glad i lasted as long as i did. the work was slow at times nothing selling, on to a new career!!
Managers in which departments got the ax?
@Nolongerastreamer
What teams or offices?
How many central offices support Winterstate, SD WAN and VoIP call managers? If it doesnt the office will be closed and the staff that supports everything else in the portfolio will lose their jobs within 24 months, max
My number came up today. Not surprised at all and its going to get uglier. Sad to see what has happened to this company ran down by the poor leadership and crooked deals. Everything has a season and it’s late winter in Little Rock
They 'are there for the money'. But guess what - there isn't any! R.I.P. Windstream
Why would such a Powerhouse Software Company be in this situation? Oh sorry TT is in charge. Scoot on out folks while you have the chance. Elliot is in charge and they are there for the money. They are not interested in running a Telecom.
What depts were hit?
Any ideas how many total were laid off?
This company is done, stick a fork in it
Yes, there were a lot of layoffs today. Managers were finally hit.
Next Thursday is the day before a payday. Wait a week and things will change.
Wait until Elliot takes over and then you will really see heads roll.
