Since we know layoffs are coming, wouldn't it be amazing if for once they actually laid off the right people? The ones who spend most of their time doing nothing because they know they are being protected by somebody higher up? The ones that make the rest of us have to do twice as much work for the same pay? Now those are the layoffs I would wholeheartedly support.

Oh....It is coming. 14 regions to 4. Lots of middle management regional folks gonna be out of work.
We were told told everyone would have to take an assessment which is 30%, performance is 65% and tenure will count towards 5%. Anyone with a redundant job is in jeopardy. Not sure if redundant means jobs that can be done by India (incorrectly) or jobs they can put with a team that does similar work. They sure don't seem to care about what is best for customers although this is why they claim they are doing this.
Looks like they will be cutting from top-bottom, all dept. No one is safe. If you’re one of those employees who “slacks” & can not “meet” your job title metics, and if your last year performance review was not so good, you will be getting cut!!!!
Also lay off the incompetent managers please. This company has too many of them in every department.
I agree 100%! The girl in my unit that was doing what you said finally left, and oh look, other people actually got recognized. Now if they got rid of people that do nothing that the managers were afraid of, that would open up some money!
