Barnes & Noble is just a bad company.
Target will flourish and be successful there.

They do, but they go in there, see a book they like, and either they read it there and go home, or buy it on Amazon. For a city that claims to "love reading", there aren't that many bookstores in NYC, certainly not as many as they used to be.
