Change the color of the victims and the "accused" (yea right) and we'd be having meetings about how insensitive it is to launch a product that shines light on such a horrific crime. But remember, you're all biased and you don't even know it! Perhaps a little unconscious bias happening here on Ford's part? NOT a good move by Ford, IMO.
I had to check to see if July 13 is a Friday.
It took them a week of embarassment to finally change the date.
All you have to do is Google the date to check if it is associated with anything unpleasant. You don't have to be a boomer - there are modern tools to use now!

I can't laugh. While I am not easily offended it is pretty offensive to celebrate the birthday of OJS under the premise of, oops we didn't know, the great Bronco has arrived.Wink.Wink. Those who are abused or worse at the hands of a spouse , or any abusive relationships are certainly not laughing and Ford Motor Corp CAN and certainly SHOULD do better.

I dunno... Millennials weren't even born yet when his football career ended, and only the oldest of them would've even likely noticed all the hullabaloo that was The Trial. Gen X'ers will remember the Chase and the Trial, but likely not all that much of his career. I'm guessing that knowing the Juice's b-day off the top of head is a pretty much limited to Boomers... and guess who's been retiring in droves (willing or not) and no longer in a position to say "Hey, you guys might want to wait just one more day to reveal the Bronco...."
Arrested development had the best line. Gob told the dealer he loved the Bronco and is told it was discontinued because it was associated with a fleeing felon. Then he says it was replaced by the escape.
