In new organization can schlumberger really introspect and challenge why we need so many managers and team leaders

There is no need to have so many managers and if you crawled from under your stone you would possibly realise that these people know what to do you utter plank.
How are you planning to tell 100K people what to do if it is not with managers. They are necessary .
Prolly cuz no one else would truly understand what goes on outside of slb. Way to protect marriages from divorce i guess due to demands of the company

Why would it change, it’s worse than ever. So many ‘little people’ that think they are having a effect and helping the cause. Problem is if you make enough noise you get put in these roles whether you can do the job or not.
Absolutely NO. Number of managers will be the same as before restructuring in 3 years.
