What sacrifices are being made at the top? None! It's a corrupt corporate culture that will ultimately destroy confidence in the company.

If the name recognition is so strong, why do so many spell Allstate incorrectly? All-State, AllState, All State?
It would take me nearly 4 and a half centuries to make what Tom Wilson does in 12 months. Does he do 400 times more work than I do? I know you can't pay super low and still get good people, but his pay is obscene.
Tom Wilson is old & very outdated. His thought process & ideas are antiques! Its not just TW it’s all the Sr leaders, VPs, directors. Allstate need to remove CEO Wilson from the board & CEO, his over paid salary also will save millions!!! Do you honestly think a 63 year old dinosaur CEO thinks about any thing else other than how much more he can take for his retirement!! TW & the rest of the old posse need to be let go! Allstate need new younger talent that is not over paid & will work to make this large company better & more profitable!! Tom Wilson is an over paid, bad toupee having dinosaur!! Time for a change with new younger fresh minds!!!
ALlstate wants to cut $3B. What better way to start at the top. Starting with the over paid CEO that is paid 4-5 times more than the national average! Let’s not mention the fact that they have officers & directors that don’t do a thing & are over paid!! Why not cut bonuses!! They are running the company into the ground. Allstate needs a new younger CEO & officers that bring new innovations & ideas to the table with smaller salaries. Not some old, over paid, outdated CEO!!!!
Looks like its time to cut the fat off again. No sense to keep employees who can not perform & meet the company numbers. If your paid to do a job, it’s best to do it & at least meet the company standard for that position. If not your getting cut & cant blame anyone else but yourself for not meeting your job performance.....
Oh but I am sure energy for life will get us through this time, riiiiight
ALL has more than 200 'Directors' at this point, officer level positions.
This number will be paired down for certain. So, yes the pain will be felt at the top as well as at the bottom. ALL has way too many expensive VP's doing next to nothing spearheading regions that need not exist; these jobs will be gone by September 20'.
Don’t assume that directors and VPs don’t work endless hours and haven’t spent years to get where they are today, everyone is in the same boat and your job or livelihood is no more valuable than mine, period, that type of thinking may be why you’re at the bottom looking up
No point to waste your time asking about if top directors & VPs will make any cuts. They never get cut. Much easier to cut more at the bottom.
seriously mass layoffs during a time of crisis like THIS? just who controls Allstate any way? How did the culture become so corrupt?? Just like our once great nation, this once great corporation has fallen FAR from its course as have many others . the people in control now have not a fraction of the character the founders had. no they are not even within the same class of humanity .. . this is sad . hopefully the people of ALLSTATE and this nation will be able to recover. we will see if they still feel a strong enough sense of togetherness to unite and demand fair treatment or if all hope is lost. Godspeed to those who are to be eliminated .. stay strong and. Come together with your people for they are your strength. . Support one another in the face of the challenging times ahead. As isolated individuals you are weak but together, nothing can keep you down .. in these times , it is important that you stay awake and recognize the power you have within. and never forget, perception is everything. there is always a choice to be made even If it does not always seem so. take control of your destiny. Strength in unity. You are not alone.
