This place s—s. Even though our store is very busy it is falling apart at the seams. Employees are overworked, stressed, and pulled in every direction due to One Belk. Tasks can only be halfway completed or not at all. You can see the frustration and stress on management's faces as well. Staff continues to be minimal, lines continue to be long. The slience from corporate about Belk's financial position grows and grows. How long can this continue?

A co-worker told me that she goes home and cries every day.
They don't care about employees. If you don't like your job then they can get someone to replace you and pay them less money .
The customers at my store ask “what’s wrong?” are you going out of business?”
Same at my store.....is causing anxiety all over the place .I even feel sorry for management.
I go home every evening slap wore out from running 10 different directions.Wish I could leave
Not a typical response, but I got away. I got another job that is not in a store. I make a little less dough, but I am content with no more store.
Absolutely!!!
I agree this is BAD. 85 degrees in the store, no help, no new merchandise and no communication. Let's just get this over with and move on. All employees look so unhappy and stressed out. Life is too short to be treated this way. I know someone will say just leave..well it's harder than you think. Not alot of options out there.
