Thread regarding Refinitiv layoffs

Anyone who thinks these online employee surveys etc are anonymous is naive. Think about it - they have "personalised" unique links for each participant. Pretty much anything on the web can be tracked and analysed. Also, ask yourself why do they conduct these surveys? What do they gain from them?
Funny how they come back concentrating on negative views. From my experience, it's never a case of how can we make this a better work environment for everyone? No, the fault pretty much always seems to lie with the employee. These surveys are also excellent for identifying "troublesome" employees - read here an employee who may have the gumption to question some stupid management decisions directly affecting them; who question some aspect of their working conditions; or those employees who actually may have some ideas on how to make work processes more efficient (I'm sure many of you have encountered some manager in the past who is reluctant to see ideas coming form their direct reports which they can't claim credit for). I would be reluctant to complete any of these surveys. Why thrust yourself into the limelight?

It is not anonymous. My Team had a special meeting because too many of us had negative views. We were "advised" to provide comments to support our low grades in next GLEIF. It was pathetic, yet a bit frightening.

Assume all roles below the managerial level are at risk. Managers are not going to throw themselves under the bus first, especially considering the benefits they are on. Also, assume layoffs are on the horizon. Don't know when, but they're lurking out there. Regular layoffs and petty cost cutting seems to be the only "plan" this company knows.

What roles within Refinitiv are at risk this year?

Transparent? No, especially when it comes to layoffs and RIFs. Work hard - because if you don't there's someone a few thousand miles away smiling and ready to go.
