Anyone received UI benefits since having to reapply after 2 weeks? Refiled 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything from Dol and can't get anyone on the phone. Feel like Gulfstream should have handled more than just 2 weeks or set something up with GDOL so we wouldn't be missing weeks.

Sounds like they are still behind. I am not getting the logic on why I need to file myself, if GS files for me. This results in double the data to process. If I commit fraud, then I should be prosecuted. This is another reason why I am leaving GA. There is conservatism, then there is just willful ignorance. I am waiting into my 3rd week without pay.
If you look on the severance agreement, there's a date on the document. That's the 45-day date. Roughly the end of June.
Gulfstream told unemployment that they had dispersed everyone’s severance. This is the problem as per Savannah unemployment office.
Nothing! I re-filed for the weeks MAY 23 - JUN 06. Their website is a vicious circle. You go to the link to check the status of your claim, and it just links you right back to where you just filed. Several phone messages have been left with Savannah DOL office with zero replies. Has ANYONE gotten paid since May 15th or gotten into contact with GA-DOL?? Any info you could share would be greatly appreciated.
- S. - What is the deadline to sign/return Severance Pkg. I believe I heard 45 days from receipt, but the envelope postmark doesn't reflect a date Any answers???
Be sure to research GD health insurance for retirees after Cobra runs out. Some can qualify to pickup company insurance.
No money the last 2 weeks and can’t recert this week either.
Once again the HR folks can’t get their stuff together. I hope they are all let go and get a taste of this.
I got 3 weeks of UI. I filed on my own. Gac said they also filed for me. No money last week.
From what GAC said, we have to apply as individuals. I started doing that a few weeks ago (week ending May 23). As far as I can tell, all three weeks since then were submitted correctly, but nothing paid out. A friend who's been laid off longer than us said that GDOL is behind, and you'll get a big check at some point, which is what happened to her.
I found a page on GDOL that said they get your application send to Gulfstream who has ten days to respond and then GDOL reviews it. The whole.process could take 21 days.
