To that person who posted the second comment right after the first, way down below here.
How do you know all this? What about the dental provider area where they update those yearly changes in regard to dental provider places. Those are where they take images from forms then update the address changes, state verifications, terminations, closings, additions, etc. of all the dental offices that the deal with.
I think you know that it has been impacted right.
Any information in regard to that area would be helpful.

To the person below. I worked near that call center area. Although not in the call center itself, but right next to it on the other side. They hire friends there. I know this because I notice that whenever someone is hired they are immediately friendly with them and use extended breaks to talk and have lunch right on the day they are hired. I noticed this after many years there. When someone that is not a friend at the woodland hills california facility asks for advice or whatever on how to proceed with a certain task at work, they will do as little as possible, unless you are a friend of them. I wonder how the people overseeing this place don't pick up on this.
So they have plenty of time to party and mingle with each other and even eat food at the desk they are in, but they don't want to spend a second when someone who is not a friend of them needs help on something. They also talk on the phone and fool around on the computer, but they don't like helping another coworker if they are not a friend of them. How is this helpful to the company they are supposedly working for or say they are happy to be there, when it is so clear that it is not true.

Who had the bright idea to install an exercise running device next to the phone call center at
the woodland hills california branch office. I have never seen that thing used by anyone ever.
I am right next to that area.
In fact it is always dark in there also.
They spent a few thousand dollars on it.
They could have hired a genius or two to help make the place more efficient for a few weeks. Instead, they wasted it on an exercise running device and created a separate little room that no one will ever use. The old folks aren't using it. The young folks don't even look at it.
They are under constant stress due to inefficient processes or are staring
at the smart mobile phones constantly all the time.

In regard to these people, in what region of the country is it?
You don't need to be specific as to the exact place.
Are they also trustworthy.
Why not just ask them directly where they are getting this rumor from.

in answer to your question it was at the woodland hills location but it was cheap snacks that people would throw in all year long and take from.
It wasn't just for halloween but throughout the year.
It was really disgusting since you don't know who touched the stuff.

Whoever wrote that below was that the place where they kept
that old communal halloween candy that everyone touched and got sick by touching it.
They threw in these old candies that nobody wanted.
People would go through them and catch stuff.

Are you hearing about these rumors at this location I posted below.
I was an account administrator there. Although I did not work in this area.
I agree with everthing in this statement.
It was originally posted on the indeed website but I don't know who wrote it there.
The only thing I disagree with is the health insurance comment which I didn't include.
Every company has the least amount the give you to keep you happy.
I have never heard someone say they have awful health insurance so I don't know why
that should be benefit that is even discussed anywhere.
You can go look at the original post by going to the review section.

aetna woodland hills is a collection of employees who have been there for a long time. Meaning all processes are outdated, which means no innovation, and work is doubled. No one is open to new ideas or processes. Senior employees feel that their time with the company allows for them to be unprofessional with no consequence. Management is afraid to speak up and correct those behaviors. this makes anyone new feel uncomfortable. The work could be less if their processes were improved. But, the environment is absolutely toxic and the pay is awful. I would not recommend working there.

If you happen to get laid off do not apply at United Healthcare! They are the worst company! They do not care about their employees!

I would look at the discussions provided by the other health insurance places on this site.
If they are going through staff reductions, then it is likely the same.
I'm not sure though.
Have you heard anything new since you posted your inquiry?
On another subject completely, is it my imagination or is there
an incredible lack of zoomers and millenials as the news calls them working at this place?
I can't be the only one noticing this.
You have to wonder why you view all this anger and protests going on.
Is it just in one particular facility where I am noticing this, or do any of you notice that a lot of departments tend to have older employees in your department. I don't have any issues working with older workers in general but when you don't have younger folks come in, it tends to stagnate. The older workers are settled in and have tons of issues dealing with families and sometimes grandchildren in some cases. They aren't focused on improving the company itself, when they got other stuff to deal with. Perhaps that is why companies like this tend to hire them, because they are compliant and they don't really complain as loudly as the zoomers, I think. This is just an opinion, I'm not trying to upset anyone. Just saying there should be more age diversity in this place.

Aetna is the layoff king, I worked there a number of years ago. They do layoffs every year. I'm not sure why anyone would take a job with Aetna.

This is not related to your comment, but am I the only one who notices a lack of diversity at this place.

I know someone in the provider data services analyst area who updates those dental office information. They know what is going on.
Does someone have more information about that also.
If anyone knows more about this.

I think they are reading the other comments on the other health insurance companies and business posted on this site. Since I haven't seen much lately on the aetna thread itself. If you type in the other places, you will see a lot of rumor and activity going on in the comments section.
Is it possible to sell off a lease as well, at some of these places that are not occupied a lot? Since it seems a lot of these places are empty due to a lot of remote workers out there.
If you see that happening also, that may also indicate something going on, because it is a cost saving measure as well.
If you also view a lot of irritated people where you are, they may be sensing something going on. Perhaps a slow down in the work coming in. Of course they would probably say that out loud also.

Talks are in the works. We are in a recession and medical membership has shrunk. Certain areas will be impacted. I was told by leadership today that there will be attrition. Certain areas will be impacted worse then others. Staffing reductions have been slowly happening since CVS acquired Aetna and there has been massive restructuring. Prior to this round, network saw a large staff reduction nationwide. Areas left unaffected during the last round, surely will feel the pain during this round.
