Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Just Stop

Stop attending these calls, they are a joke and waste of time. The silence will be a huge statement. The greed and backstabbing within this company sickens me.

We need simple information updates from him, we dont want to be bombarded by Complex Book to Bull ratios or Management Spiel etc.

We need simple:
What sales have sold basic Numbers to show positive momentum if any, new wins etc
What the pay rises are going to be Simple percentage
What the Redundancies are going to be for the next year if any and who its going to effect so they can leave if they want to get another job

Like he gets bored of people asking the same questions about rises everybody gets bored of him talking vaguely of how his changing things as there is no tangible positive change visible on the ground.

All we see is a load of Ex Accenture bods being hired on big bucks producing very little, a few months when there was no redundancy but things have gone back to norm, no pay rises or they keep getting pushed back, the same blocking procedures in place, so whats changed and how is the company moving forward except for that Technology Stack logo?

So all we can see is that logo has cost 9 months and X Millions in ex Accenture Executives but produced very little?

Surely he cant expect the staff or the stock market investors to be fooled by that?

Come on Mike you can surely do better than this.

The calls are sort of an insight in Salvino's state of mind. He is slowly losing it.... I can imagine that running DXC is kind of a nightmare. It certainly is for employees.

Savino shows up completely unprepared. No metrics, no progress reports, and dropping the message that he is flicking off a Board member to keep answering questions.

He is woefully unprepared for this job and I doubt he has the intellect, experience or temperament to steer this ship.

His actions, e.g. DXC Blue, are calamitous and his ability to communicate are extraordinarily poor.

It’s amusing for me to see the suggested course of action: “Just Stop.” I agree and have been advising the same for years. How would it look, if absolutely nobody showed up for these town halls? That might send a message. Just remember that the town halls are about them discussing their agenda, not yours.

Actually, if you listened earlier he refused to answer a kissa$$ question and wanted an "edgy one", which he then proceeded to rip into.

I've yet to see another CEO of a company this size react like that, I'm not sure quite what sort of impression he's trying to give, its certainly not corporate.

The no-nonsense attitude might be fine if it was followed up with actual improvements, but so far this is like the old Mikey without the smiling face. Who'd have thought I'd have welcomed the smiley face?

@ Done: you are 100% correct they are a complete waste of time I'm not attending again. The questions are so choreographed like who cares how the CEO is managing his work in lockdown. These calls are so sanitised and are all about brainwashing however his mask slips a little on each one
