What's likely to be in store on the CEO call Monday afternoon. Are we just going to here about COVID and race relations or is anything else likely to be discussed?

Here is the video that Mike S should have played at the start of the call

Wow! I never heard the B S session, but what I am reading from you poor souls, justifies to me that Mike 2 has his head, you know where, like the 1st clown. What a travesty of a company. Man, I'm glad I bailed a while ago, and Lawrie didn't have to tell me if I was pi$$Ed off, I could leave! Good luck people. I feel for you. If you do happen to go, by any means, believe me when you walk out that door, anxiety will leave you instantly.
I don't think I've ever heard the actual "the beatings will continue until morale improves" speech before. But that was it folks.
Maybe the one glimmer of hope is that he realises the negativity is what holds this place back, but he needs to understand that's not all of just being difficult - that negativity is 100% earned by DXC. DXC did it and if he wants it to end, then he as DXC needs to fix it. Just telling us to stop feeling negative is not the answer.
Hey but at least they now know that the major problems are "the application we record our time into" and that tricky to use "global pass".
Yeah I'm sure my day will be perfect if just those two things were better.
He's a big old clue for you Mr CEO:
1) Stop threatening me every quarter with losing my job
2) Stop fiddling the scores on my appraisal to fit some management expectation of how i perform
3) Stop axing everyone else around me so I have more work to do and none of the broader team I work with remain intact long enough to achieve multi year projects
4) Stop the endless townhalls where someone tells me how they are now in charge of something and they want to re-appoint loads of minions.
5) Stop telling me to cease complaining about my salary which hasn't been reviewed for 10 years and is behind the market by just about any measurement you choose to apply.
Fix that, happy workforce and DXC stands some chance of digging itself out of the pit of doom. Fail and.....meh
And finally, I'd like like to say full props to whoever presumably told him to sort his f***ing sh– out in the questions box :-)
Well, having heard our CEO telling us to leave if we are not happy with the situation has been quite the experience. This guy is a bully and it appears to have no real plans for the future of the company. Well... I guess it's time to go before to get a WFR email.
Literally can't contain myself after watching that charlatan of a CEO spout off a load of aggressive, non-motivating nonsense.
I've not even been here a year and I can see how bad things really are. You honestly think Mike that telling people who don't like it to leave is going to win you any points after you've announced a global WFR programme. Some of these people DON'T want to leave, yet you're pushing them out against their will. And yes, I'm addressing you directly there - because as CEO, the buck stops with you, every decision, every action, every consequence.
If you want people to start getting onboard, then do the decent thing and APOLOGISE for the company getting to this point in the first place. Don't bother with the "I've only been here 8 months" nonsense either, because when you stepped into those shoes, you inherited everything that came with it, including the years of austerity and demotivating cuts that happened previously.
Oh, and lastly, "don't insult our intelligence".
LOL - just heard New Mike say if you're unhappy - leave. No problem with that, but the mass redundancies literally chopping off the arms and legs that generate actual value. He wants people in the company to be proud. Yes, doing stupid stuff like cutting that same productive workforce, without being honest, isn't going to make anyone proud.
Lots of stuff on diversity. Yeah that totally makes sense. On one hand, focus on us being completely unified, then on the other say that it's important to spend lots of money on initiatives that celebrate and exaggerate our differences. Oh hi there, cognitive dissonance. Also, bye bye to the thousands of client-facing front-line staff who we're making redundant in order to boost short term profitability, in a bid to inflate share prices and give us time to cash in before it falls again and the company implodes.
Now that Salvino's mask slipped off I suppose we can expect nothing but some gibberish to justify the layoffs. Have anybody notices the balance sheet figures under the "Goodwill Impairment" title? That is simply ridiculous. Such a figure should be a red flag about Salvino's management.
Well, i would hope he (Mikey v2) would come clean about this 4500 more redundancies that he let slip out when he was presenting the accounts for FYR2020. Its a shame that this news came out on some news outlets and not by means of telling those who are potentially impacted first.
Yeah, just continue playing Solitaire working from home. With no sound direction from above, what is there to do?
It's only worth watching to see him have another meltdown like last time.
I do hope its another video one.
Seriously... save yourself the time and don't bother tuning it. I've stopped years ago and haven't missed a thing.
Yep it's all a script, the pay rise never materialised, everyone is doing well but.... we need the money for management bonuses not towards you.
Growth in turnover, well that's never happening even the stock markets has seen through that.
So until staff are rewarded it's all rinse and repeat, I don't know why they don't play back Mike Lawrie from 2015 we would hear no different and would save Mike S a few wasted hours.
Come on Mike you need to change and reward not just talk talk.
Why are these things always such short notice? Are they so thoroughly incompetent they can't plan more than a few days ahead or do they just not think staff merit any consideration?
let's look at what he will not be talking about
- - rewarding employees with a pay rise
- - growth in turnover
- - Job stability stabliising
- - troop morale not falling
Does anyone believe what these guys say anymore?
just like appraisals - nothing matters anymore - its all "deckchair moving on the titanic" nonsense
