Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

All production to Saudi Arabia

Just got back from Little Rock's plant that is closing and told that ALL manufacturing will be in Saudi Arabia in two years after splitting the two manufacturing lines up (only temporarily) Way to go Schlumberger, but hey our stock is up way to go Bean Counters !!!!

The only problem with that is the BP's, ExxonMobils, Chevrons and Shells, they are requiring bids for contracts for products manufactured in the USA only. SLB just eliminated themselves to even bid out contracts. That started back in 2017. Oh, that's right. The people that knew that no longer work for SLB.

Orbit was a great product, it is sad what Cameron and Schlumberger chose to do to it & to their very good customers.

Makes perfect sense. Saudi is where the oil is and Saudi is where the business is. Schlumberger is a business, not a charity for cry babies.
