In order to get the severance, don't you have to sign the waiver? It that's true, then couldn't you get unemployment for the full period if you don't sign the waiver? With the extra $600, that might be better for some and if you don't sign the waiver and are older, it would preserve your right to sue.

I am the same person that posted this first question the answer is when did golf stream say or severance package would begin nobody at golf stream can answer that question the only way to know if you can get unemployment is to re-file a claim and then either get disqualified or approved. I did talk to a lawyer who is saying that if you do you file unemployment now it will take away the weeks of your severance package so that you subtract the 26 weeks of an unemployment you could get from your package. I’m not sure if all this information is correct and nobody seems to have any answers for us I am sorry
